Privacy Policy

Coorie collects account identifiers from Sign in with Apple, your display name, time zone, quiet-hours settings, pairing state, device push tokens, App Store purchase status, and the pings, photos, voice notes and shared countdowns you send to your partner, plus reports, blocks, and support messages you send us.

Traffic uses TLS in transit. Data is encrypted at rest in access-controlled cloud storage. Photos and voice notes use random object keys and short-lived signed links that are issued only after the request is authorized.

Coorie is not end-to-end encrypted. The service is private and access-controlled, but operators may be able to access content for delivery, abuse handling, legal, and moderation needs.

We do not sell data, show ads, run third-party ad tracking or analytics, or use your private content to train AI models.

How long we keep things

Photos and voice notes pass through our cloud so your partner's phone can download them. Both phones keep their own copies; the cloud copy is deleted automatically 12 months after it was sent. Each couple has a monthly shared allowance for photos and voice notes (250 MB free, 1 GB with Coorie Premium).

Your account, pings and countdowns are kept until you delete your account. A free zip export includes your ping log and the photos and voice notes still held in the cloud for your account. Reported content is reviewed and taken down within 24 hours when it breaks our rules. After a block, partner access is revoked immediately and affected media is purged within 24 hours. Deleting your account revokes sessions immediately and queues media purge within 24 hours; minimal purchase records may be kept for App Store refund, fraud, and tax obligations.
